SODAT-Delaware, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization licensed by the State of Delaware’s Department
of Health and Social Services’ Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH) as an outpatient substance
abuse evaluation, treatment, and case management provider. SODAT is also accredited by the Joint Commission for
the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) as an outpatient behavioral healthcare provider.
SODAT has been incorporated since 1971, and is Delaware’s oldest continuously operating non-profit outpatient
substance abuse treatment provider. SODAT is currently located on the second floor of the Linden Building at
625 North Orange Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801.
The primary function of SODAT-Delaware, Inc. is to provide a holistic modality for substance use, abuse,
and dependence assessments with commensurate outpatient education, prevention, treatment, and case management
methods that focus on the entire person. SODAT will craft service approaches to not only address substance
abuse, but also to address family relationships, mental health issues, living environment, education, and
employment. The primary goal of SODAT’s service approach is to assist individuals located in Delaware in establishing and
maintaining a recovery lifestyle based on the foundations of abstinence, family health, employment,
education, and spirituality.
SODAT’s regular hours of operation are:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
